Thru-Put Partners is the next generation of Supply Chain consulting. As our competitors continue to sink deeper into data analytics dependence and equipment, technology, and service providers offer consulting to best position their offerings, the results are generally more glossy reports or pseudo proposals than implementable designs. Thru-Put is focused on developing and deploying solutions that benefit our clients. We believe in analytics, but they’re a means to an end and that end requires un-biased thinking and vision.

Project Director – Senior Director

This position will work closely with a Project Executive or Account Manager to build client trust, manage project delivery, and build team skills. The daily responsibilities will vary based upon project scope and the specific role within the team.

Required Skills Include

· Client Driven – Understand that client success is our only measure of project success

· Leadership – Ability to define goals, organize teams, develop staff, hire, evaluate performance and deliver results to expectations.

· Strong Analytical Skills – Understand what and how to analyze, ability to adapt to data challenges, results, evaluation skills, strong analytical tool skills (i.e. Excel, Access, SQL, Tableau, LLamasoft, etc.)

· Drawing Competency – Ability to review and develop complex shop drawings covering material handling equipment, process flows, site plans, general construction, tenant improvements and automation to identify issues and accuracy as an integrated plan.

· Operations Experience – Competency evaluating operational performance, identifying process gaps, developing alternative options and strategies, developing business cases for change, and managing recommended change in operations

· Core Engineering Capabilities – ability to develop basic process flows, gather observational data, refine solution options, apply lean concepts, apply 5S concepts and other advanced techniques as appropriate to project scope

· Experience in distribution and fulfillment center design including operations improvement, slotting, material flow path, material handling selection and CAD based layouts.

· Excellent communication and client relationship skills – Must be comfortable leading large, diverse groups. Strong ability to manage diverging-conflicting opinions in a constructive manner to gain the client’s trust.

· Presentation – Strong report and presentation development capabilities that are tailored to the audience and project and provide a clear path forward

· Confident, professional, personable, passionate, and positive towards the client, the project team, vendors, and support staff. We do not expect perfection, just everyone’s best effort and attitude.

· Creativity – Ability to think on your feet, learn new skills and apply creative thinking to problem solving in dynamic, fast moving situations

· Managerial experience in an industry or consulting position that had direct report and client/supplier relationship responsibilities

· Previous external consulting experience is preferred. Experience in supply chain consulting or a supply chain leadership role in industry.

· Experience contributing and supporting, a strategic sales/BD team.

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a leading university in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, or related business major. Advanced degrees and certifications are welcome.

· Willing and able to travel 60-80% for extended periods of time based on project location

The compensation for this role is related to the candidate’s experience, capabilities, and organizational fit. Total compensation includes a competitive base salary, performance bonus package and benefits typically not found in competing supply chain consulting firms. Consultant – Senior Consultant

This position will work closely with a Project Manager and Project Director to execute project requirements, support project delivery, and build client trust. The daily responsibilities will vary based upon the project scope and the specific role within the team.

Required Skills Include

· Strong Analytical Skills – Understand what and how to analyze, ability to adapt to data challenges, results evaluation skills, strong analysis tool skills (i.e. Excel, Access, SQl, Tableau, LLamasoft, etc.)

· Drawing Competency – Ability to use AutoCAD efficiently to develop complex shop drawings covering material handling equipment, process flows, site plans, general construction, tenant improvements and automation to identify issues and accuracy as an integrated plan.

· Core Engineering Capabilities – ability to develop basic process flows, gather observational data, refine solution options, apply lean concepts, apply 5S concepts and other advanced techniques as appropriate to project scope

· Operations Competency – Competency evaluating operational performance, identifying process gaps, developing alternative options and strategies, developing business cases for change, and managing recommended change in operations

· Experience in distribution and fulfillment center design including operations improvement, slotting, material flow path, material handling selection and CAD based layouts.

· Presentation – Ability to develop reports and presentations that are clear, concise and accurate and tailored to the outline of project leadership

· Confident, professional, personable, passionate, and positive towards the client, the project team, vendors, and support staff. We do not expect perfection, just everyone’s best effort and attitude.

· Solid communication and client relationship skills – we are open, communicate daily and are building relationships that last beyond contracts.

· Self-motivation – direction – Ability to clearly understand specific project tasks and execute to plan with limited interaction from supervision.

· Prior Supply Chain experience in an industry or consulting position that was focused on distribution, fulfillment, warehouse, or plant support.

· Previous external consulting experience is preferred. Experience in supply chain consulting or a supply chain leadership role in industry.
